Formatting a Bibliography: #1 What style?

When your teacher asks you for a bibliography, ask if it needs to be in a certain format. Scholarly work is typically submitted according to the rules of style guides.

The most common style guide at high school level is MLA. The most current MLA edition is 8. 

APA is another style guide, commonly used in the sciences. The most current APA edition is 6.
