Hi Everybody!
Today is all about the water cycle. We live within the natural cycle of water on our earth; so...what is the water cycle? The official definition is below.
Water cycle, also called hydrologic cycle, is a cycle that involves the continuous circulation of water in the Earth-atmosphere system. Of the many processes involved in the water cycle, the most important are evaporation, transpiration, condensation, precipitation, and runoff. Although the total amount of water within the cycle remains essentially constant, its distribution among the various processes is continually changing.
Have you ever heard that you may be drinking water that the dinosaurs used? 🦖 It's true! Earth's water is being recycled over and over again. It is not created or destroyed...just reused!
The first thing for you to do today is watch this video that will teach you about the different parts of the water cycle.
After the video, go to The Water Cycle For Schools and Students. Make sure you are on the intermediate or advanced version. You can find that in the upper right corner of your screen. Use this large diagram for the answers to this Canvas quiz.
