STEAM LAB

Welcome to the STEAM LAB! We have a few kitchen rules that we need you to understand,

1. Always wear shoes (no open toed shoes).
2. Always wash your hands before and after cooking.
3. Never put water on a grease fire.
4. A dull knife is more likely to slip and hurt you than a sharp knife.
5. Do not wear long baggy clothing. It is easier for it to catch fire.
6. Make sure the handles of the pots and pans are turned inward.
7. Lift a lid of a hot pot towards you, so the steam will not burn you.
8. Do not set a to glass dish on a cold or wet surface. The dish could break.
9. Do not use metal utensils on Teflon or nonstick pans.
10. Do not use the same cutting board for raw meats, fruits, and vegetables.
